Abstract

The article discusses an essay on educational philosophy by Ann Chinnery. Chinnery's proscriptions regarding the moral accountability and discipline of school bullies is criticized based on her calls to reduce the influence of constitutive luck on student behavior and the alleged importance of student accountability is emphasized.
