Abstract
בחלוף הרבע הראשון של המאה העשרים ואחת, מה אנחנו יכולים לומר עליה כעת? רוב התחזיות שנכתבו בסוף המאה שעברה רחוקות מתיאור העידן שלנו כפי שהוא מתממש בפועל. למעשה, רק בשנים האחרונות אנו חווים את הטלטלות המסמנות תקופה חדשה, והעתידות אולי לעצב את דמותו של העידן שלפנינו.
