Abstract
יש ילדים צעירים שבאופן ספונטני מתייחסים לכמויות של אובייקטים ואירועים בסביבתם גם כאשר הם אינם נדרשים לכך באופן מפורש. הנטייה להתייחס באופן ספונטני לכמויות הומשגה על ידי צוות מחקר מפינלנד בשם SFON Spontaneous Focusing On Numerosity , ונחקרה על ידם בהקשרים רבים ומגוונים. מאמר זה מסכם את הידע שהצטבר עד כה על התייחסות ספונטנית של ילדים לכמויות ומתאר דרכים שונות לחיזוק נטייה טבעית זו בגן הילדים.
