Abstract
"הספר מציג לראשונה לקוראי העברית את הקהילה היהודאית באזור ההתיישבות אל-יהודו. בחלקו העיקרי של הספר מובאים תרגומים של הלוחות מאוסף דוד סופר, אשר נתפרסמו לא מכבר בידי לורי פירס בספר Documents of Judean exile and West Semites in Babylonia in the collection of David Sofer . אוסף זה מופקד בהשאלה ארוכת טווח במוזאוון ארצות המקרא בירושלים. התרגומים מן הנוסח האכדי המקורי בכתב היתדות לעברית נעשו בידי יהושע גרינברג ווואין הורוביץ, בסיועו של פיטר זילברג ובתבסס על העתקים במהדורות מדעיות מאת לורי פירס ...
