Abstract
הספר סוקר שינויים שחלו בהרכב המינים של יונקי היבשה שחיו בישראל במהלך כ-2.8 מיליון השנים האחרונות (להלן: הרביעון). הוא מתבסס על מאגר מידע מקיף מנתונים פלאונטולוגיים וארכאוזואולוגיים ממאות אתרים שנחפרו בישראל, וכן מעדויות היסטוריות ממאות השנים האחרונות.
