Abstract
בפרק זה נסקרים מחקרים שבחנו את האתגרים הניצבים בפני ילדים דוברי השפה הערבית בבואם ללמוד קריאה וכתיבה. התמקדנו בשלושת הגורמים המשמעותיים להתפתחות ניצני האוריינות: מאפייני שפת האם של הילד, המיצב (הסטטוס) החברתי - כלכלי של משפחתו והסביבה האוריינית שהוא גדל בה. (מתוך המאמר)
