Abstract
נשאלת השאלה כיצד נכין את ילדינו הצעירים לחיים במאה העשרים ואחת: האם חשוב להתחיל ב“הכנות“ כבר בגיל צעיר, גיל הגן? האם יש מקום לשילובן של טכנולוגיות מחשוב, תקשוב ומגוון מדיות דיגיטליות כבר בגן? במאמר זה נעסוק בחלק משאלות אלה וננסה לברר מהו שילוב מושכל, מידתי ומועיל של המחשב בגן. נדון במקומו של המחשב בגן מבחינה ערכית, מבחינה פדגוגית ומבחינה פיזית, ונעסוק בשאלה כיצד לשלב מחשב בגן בדרך שלא תחסום את היצירתיות של הילדים, את חדוות המשחק, את ההתנסות הקונקרטית והחושית, את ההתבוננות הבלתי אמצעית בסביבה ואת קשרי הגומלין החברתיים.
