Abstract
במאמר זה מנסה המחבר להציע חלופות רעיוניות למטפורה הדומיננטית של שוק הדעות ולעגנן במציאות הישראלית. בראשיתו יתוארו שורשיה של מטפורת שוק הדעות ואופן קליטתה בפסיקת בית המשפט העליון ובשיח המשפטי הישראלי. בחלקו השני, יציע המחבר שתי דרכים אלטרנטיביות להגנה על חופש הביטוי בעידן הרב ערוצי המסחרי.
