This paper explores the multifaceted dimensions of the trauma experienced by residents of the State of Israel in the aftermath of Black Saturday, which occurred on October 7, 2023. The paper emphasizes the unique complexity of this cataclysmic, collective, and enduring event. Practical recommendations for addressing the aftermath, including community interventions and strategies to alleviate ongoing stress, are presented
