Abstract
המאמר עוסק בקהילה היהודית של אלרקה. תעודות הגניזה שנבחנות במאמר מאפשרות מבט ממוקד על עיר ואיזור בתקופה שכל המקורות האחרים על אודותיה - שותקים. התעודות שופכות אור על הקהילה היהודית גופה ועל הקשרים שחיברו אותה לסביבתה.
