Research interests

I received my B.Sc. degree (cum laude) from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel in 1994 and the M.Sc. (cum laude) and Ph.D. (summa cum laude) degrees from Tel-Aviv University, Israel in 1999 and 2004, respectively, all in electrical engineering. In 2003-2006 I held a post-doctoral position at the Mathematics department In Yale University. Currently, I am an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Bar-Ilan University, Israel. I am an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology since 2013. I was the organizer of the IAM Imaging 2006 mini-symposium in 2006, a Special session, IEEE SSP07, a Special session in IEEE SSP09. In 2012 I was the Head of the organizing committee of the IPAM Large Scale Multimedia workshop. I was a Program Co-Chair of the 4th International Workshop on Biometrics and Forensics IWBF 2016.
