Research interests

Sigal Eden is a senior lecturer at the School of Education of Bar-Ilan University in Israel. She received her PhD in educational technology from Bar-Ilan University and started her research in special education and educational technology at Bar-Ilan. She also served as a Research Fellow at CHAIS research centre, the Open University of Israel. She is a member of European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction- EARLI: Special Educational Needs, and IACEP- International Association for Cognitive Education and Psychology, and the Membership secretary of IACEP since 2013. Her areas of interest include: cognitive and lingual enhancement of children with special needs via technology, people with hearing impairment, learning environments integrating advanced technology. Since 2013 she is the research and development manager of the Technological Institute for Children with Special Needs in Bar-Ilan.
