Biographical Information

Dr Shlomit Flint is a Senior lecturer at the Department of Environment, Planning and Sustainability, Bar Ilan University. She is a licensed architect by the Israeli Registrar of Engineers and Architects, holds a master's degree in Public policy and planning and a PhD in Geosimulation and Spatial Analysis. Formerly she held a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Research Fellow and a Bartlett Grand Challenges Senior Researcher at the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA). Her main research interests include Planning Theory, Practice and Implementation, Geodesign and Social Sustainability. She is involved in interdisciplinary research collaborations on environmentally conscious planning, shaping urban layout and greenery systems, and evaluating environmental impacts using geodesign and modelling tools.
