Personal profile

Research interests

My initial clinical training and research took place at the Institute of Psychiatry, University of London, where the importance of evidence based treatments was emphasized. My research interest in Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) also began here with a study examining the effects of crime. On my arrival in Israel, I continued with PTSD research in the Center for Traumatic Stress at Hadassah University Hospital with Prof Shalev. At the same time, I qualified as a Social Worker and completed a PhD in Psychology at the Hebrew University. My current research program focuses on developing innovative clinical interventions for PTSD.
