Research interests

Orly Shapira–Lishchinsky is an associate professor in the Department of Educational Administration and Leadership, School of Education, at Bar-Ilan University, Israel. Her research areas include: organizational ethics, international assessments (TIMSS), comparative studies, teachers' withdrawal behaviors (lateness, absenteeism and intent to leave) and mentoring through Team-based-Simulation. She was awarded the Emerald/EFMD Award and the European grant: Marie Skłodowska-Curie (in addition to Israeli grants). To date, she have published extensive research - in a wide range of highly ranked scholarly journals, including Educational Administration Quarterly, Journal of Educational Administration, and Educational Management Administration & Leadership. In addition, many of the articles have been presented at international conferences.
