Research interests
Oren Sadot is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where he serves as Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He is a member of the University Senate since 2022. His research focuses on high-strain-rate and shock-wave physics, including dynamic material response, blast-wave interactions, and experimental methods for extreme loading conditions. He is actively involved in academic leadership, graduate supervision, and international research collaborations.
