Previously a lecturer at the Bar-Ilan Criminology Department, current Chair of the Criminology Department at Ariel University. 

Prof. Mally Shechory Bitton was the vice rector of Ariel University during the last seven years. She is the head of the Criminology department and the head of the Master Degree Program in Clinical Criminology, at Ariel University, Israel. Prof. Shechory Bitton completed Family Therapy study at Tel Aviv University, and and post-doctoral study on the subject of Victim Offender Mediation, at University of Tübingen. Her academic work includes both practical and theoretical experience in the fields of victimology, violence, and aggression. She has a very broad scientific activity, documented in numerous publications.
