Personal profile
Research interests
I am an epidemiologist with extensive background in environment, biology, ecological microbiology, advanced statistical methods and public health. In the last several years I have developed my main, highly multidisciplinary interest of focus: developing novel approaches for the in-depth understanding of the links between external environmental exposures and health outcomes, specifically adverse pregnancy outcomes (APO), stress and cancer incidence. In my current research, I aim to evaluate both the beneficial and harmful exposure effects on health outcomes.
