I completed my PhD at the Structural Biology Department at the Weizmann Institute and conducted my post-doctoral studies at the NIH under supervision of Dr. Adriaan Bax. My research interests are the structure, dynamics, function and interactions of proteins in the biological contexts of health and disease. Our main tool is structural NMR which is a powerful method for understanding the molecular basis of protein function. Specific interests include membrane proteins, intrinsically disordered proteins, and protein-protein interactions in a variety of biological systems. In our work we also combine complementary biophysical methods such as circular dichroism, isothermal titration calorimetry, sedimentation equilibrium, microscale thermophoresis and others. We have several ongoing collaborations with chemists and biologists in Israel and abroad. On the personal level, I am married (1992) with three children and my hobbies include chess, music (piano playing) and calendars.

- Protein-protein interactions affecting the cytoskeleton and actin polymerization
- Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome - structural mechanism underlying this rare primary immunodeficiency
