Research interests

My research interests include the archaeology of the Southern Levant, particularly during the second and first millennia BCE, the archaeology of colonialism and migrations in antiquity, and the archaeological study of visual language, craft, and stamp seals. I am currently co-PI of Stamp Seals from the Southern Levant (Swiss National Science Foundation Sinergia project 2020–2023), co-director of the archaeological project at Tel Hadid, Israel, co-director of Al-Haditha: Archaeological–Historical Study of an Abandoned Arab Village” (Israel Science Foundation project) and co-director of the final publication of the Tel Arad excavations (funded by the White-Levy Program for Archaeological Publications).
