Research interests

Professor Esther Adi-Japha heads the Child Development Program in the Faculty of Eduction, and a research fellow of the Gonda (Goldschmied) Multidisciplinary Brain Research Center in the University.

She did her Post-Doctoral research (1998-2000) at the School of Psychology, Bristol University, UK. She earned her PhD (graduated-1998) at the Interdisciplinary Center for Neural Computation at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (ICNC, now ELSC). B.Sc and M.Sc were received from the Racha Institute of Physics at the Hebrew University. Adi-Japha began her research in child development studying the development of children's drawing and handwriting. Her research focuses on the development of skill acquisition. Adi-Japha is a Review Editor of the Journal Frontiers in Psychology.
