Research interests

Dr. Dror Yinon is a lecturer in the Program for Hermeneutics and Cultural Studies at Bar-Ilan University. His field of practice is contemporary French philosophy, with a focus on Merleau-Ponty, Sartre, Deleuze, and Foucault. His main topics of interest in these philosophers are the philosophy of the body, the philosophy of history, political philosophy, and the philosophy of experience. He also studies philosophers of the Frankfurt School—Horkheimer, Adorno, and Marcuse—as well as Jewish philosophy, with an emphasis on Jewish secularism.
