Research interests

Dr. Ayelet Makaros is Head of the Field Work Unit at the School of Social Work. Dr. Makaros is an expert in the field of community social work and policy practice, and her research promotes the professional knowledge of social workers in the fields of policy change and promotion of legislation. She is also active in various committees in the Ministry of Welfare with the aim of influencing social economic policy. Over the last decade Dr. Makaros has been investigating the field of Corporate Social Responsibility. Her research work and publications in the USA and Israel examine the relationship between businesses and social organization services and contribute to building professional and methodical working processes between them.
