Amir Elalouf is a lecturer in the Department of Management, Bar Ilan University, Ramat Gan, Israel. He holds a B.Sc in mathematics and computer science and a PhD in operations research from Ben Gurion University, Israel. In the fields of healthcare and operations research, Amir studied organ allocation for transplantation and published several new models and techniques for this problem. Today, Elalouf’s main research interests are modeling production, scheduling, and routing problems and developing solution methods for combinatorial optimization.
