Undergraduate Program in Health Systems Management (B.A)
The program is offered together by the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management GGFBM, with the aim of providing students with a multi-disciplinary knowledge that will enable graduates to integrate and lead organizations within and outside the health system. The health system includes a variety of courses in economics, behavioral sciences, finance, accounting, human resources management, marketing and advertising, management accounting, performance research, production management and operations. Clinics, health economics, sociology of health, epidemiology and public health, health system information systems, planning and evaluation of health services, the health system logistics management, accounting nonprofit.
The curriculum combines study tours in the health system, meetings with managers and policymakers, and practical experience in a variety of health institutions.
The knowledge and tools acquired within the framework of the program allow graduates to take part in a variety of positions in public and private clinics, hospitals, the Ministry of Health, health fund managements and civil society organizations dealing with health and other related fields. The extensive management training allows graduates to integrate into other sectors of the economy. A large proportion of the department's graduates continue their postgraduate studies, such as business administration, public health, public administration and policy, gerontology in a variety of study programs in Israel and abroad.
