The Department of Emergency Medicine at the Leon and Mathilde Recanati School for Community Health Professions grants a 4-year Bachlor's (B.EMS) degree that combines paramedic certification with academic studies. As a vital component in the Faculty of Health Science's center of excellence in emergency medicine, we are ideally placed to lead research and developments in the field, as well as to train leading professionals playing a vital role in saving lives. Our graduates are highly regarded in Israel's emergency medicine services and many continue on to graduate studies.
The Department's faculty members play a key role in the Center for the Study of Preparedness and Response to Emergency and Disaster, which brings together leading experts from Israel and abroad to conduct research and increase knowledge and preparedness for emergency and disaster situations.
