An adapted group psychotherapy framework for teaching and learning about CSCL

ملخص

This theoretical paper presents a framework adapted from group psychotherapy (GP) for teaching and learning about computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL). The framework is used both in the design of a learning community and to explain how aspects of learning occur within it. The design, which we enacted in a graduate level course that taught about CSCL, is based on content-process integration, group cohesion, and reflection. The learning is based on transference into a microcosm and developing the intentionality to change. We use narrative illustrations from moderators' and students' discourse to show how this framework impacts teaching and learning about CSCL.
